The world can sometimes be a negative place and if there is anything I have learned it’s that the simple act of doing someone’s hair can fill them with joy, confidence, and even change their outlook on life. The ability to do hair is very powerful and I love every aspect of it.

I love the transformation, the emotion, the gratification of helping someone to feel amazing about themselves. It provides me with very strong feeling of accomplishment.

I have been doing hair for 8 years now, and I know I’m in it for the long run. When I started I never considered that I would make it this far. No one did. But now that I am here I can’t imagine my life without doing hair. I have over 100 clients and about 25 of them have DreamCatchers. I LOVE MY JOB!

Since starting my career I have made it a point to constantly continue my education, get more in depth training, and now I have a deep passion and love for what I do.

Personal

I’m 29 years old, I have been married for 10 years now, and I have 2 daughters.

The best part is my supportive husband who helps to keep my dreams alive. I’ve never been told by my husband, “that isn’t a good idea" or that I “shouldn’t" do this or that, only that I shouldn’t stop.

I will be doing this a very long time. It’s not about the dollar, it’s about the passion. I so very much look forward to what’s to come; living the rock star dream through every head of hair. That’s what I was born to do.
